Unchecking the option will disable the audio, and you shouldn’t hear any sounds on your home-screens. I prefer muting the audio as I don’t want to hear a sound when I unlock my screen.Loop VideoThis option also comes enabled by default. What it does is repeat the video once it finishes playing. In simple words, it keeps your live wallpaper moving forever.
How To Find And Fix What's Draining Your Android's Battery
when it comes to smartphones, the biggest complaint voiced by most users is battery life. Sure, it's unrealistic to expect your Android device to run for weeks without a recharge, but many folks struggle to even make it through the day without having to top off their battery.No-Root Tip #1: Identify Battery Draining AppsFirst and foremost, everyone should be familiar with Android's battery menu. It's a very useful tool that helps you identify appsthat have been draining your battery more than others. To begin, head to your phone's main Settings menu, then tap the"Battery" entry.Just beneath the graph at the top of this screen, you'll find a list of the apps that have been draining your battery the most. If everything is going as it should, the top entry in this list should be "Screen." But if an app is the main battery drainer for you, this is cause for alarm.Familiarize yourself with the apps in this list, and you'll usually find that the worst offenders rise to the top of this list day after day. If you want a more in-depth version of Android's battery menu, you can try an app calledGSam Battery Monitor, which provides a sortable list of these same apps. Once you've nailed down your list of problematic apps, I have some solutions belowfor minimizing battery drain.No-Root Tip #2: Uninstall or Disable Battery Draining AppsIf your battery-draining app is one you installed yourself, the easiest solution would be to uninstall this app. That's simple enough—just head to the "Apps" menu in Settings, then uninstall the problematic app.Apps that came pre-installed on your device generally cannot be uninstalled without root access. If one of your problematic apps falls into this category, you may want to check out a Windows program calledDebloater, which will allow you to disable any app without needing root access.No-Root Tip #3: Restrict App PermissionsIf your problematic app is one you simply can't live without, consider restricting its permissions. In particular, the "Autorun" and "Background Service" permissions that some apps request can be huge battery drains. For non-rooted users, the easiest way to restrict app permissions is withUU AppPurifier. This app works by injecting a wrapper into other apps that allows for granular permissions controls. Remember to disable the "Autorun" permission if you can!Alternatively, you can try installing a different app that accomplishes the same task, but doesn't require as many battery-hungry permissions. A good example of this isFacebook LiteorTinfoil for Facebook, which are two apps that serve as more efficient alternatives to the official Facebook app, which is well known as an Android battery killer.Root Tip #1: Find Your Biggest WakelocksFor rooted users, the main point of emphasis should bewakelocks—these are requests from apps that prevent your phone from sleeping so that the app can sync data or post notifications. As you can imagine, preventing your device from sleeping takes a big toll on your battery, but wakelocks are a necessary evil.Nonetheless, you should definitely be aware of the apps on your system that are requesting too many wakelocks. There areseveral apps to monitor wakelocks on your device, but of the free options,Wakelock Detectoris the best, in my opinion. The developer recommends that you have at least 90% battery life remaining before you run Wakelock Detector for the first time. If you're in a pinch, though, you can simply reboot your phone immediately after installing the app, then openWLDand grant it Superuser access.Once you've got it all set up, give Wakelock Detector as much time as you can for it to accumulate data. Eventually, you'll startseeing apps pop up in this list, and they're ordered by how long they've held wakelocks.Root Tip #2: Uninstall Battery Draining Apps (Even System Apps)Once you've found your biggest wakelock culprits, you should first consider uninstalling the apps. As a rooted user,Titanium Backupshould be your go-to tool in this regard.Keep in mind, though, that Titanium Backup is capable of uninstallinganyapp—even those that are essential to Android. So use some discretion when removing troublesome apps, and as a general rule of thumb, don't uninstall anything that doesn't have an entry in your app drawer.Root Tip #3: Restrict WakelocksLet's say your biggest wakelock-holding apps are the kind you shouldn't uninstall. This is likely the case with Google Play Services, which is usually among the top battery draining apps on any Android device. As this is a core element of the Android system, uninstalling Play Services is not an option—but restricting its wakelocks definitely is.If you have the Xposed Framework installed, there's an awesome module that will let you restrict wakelocks without losing any functionality. It's calledAmplify, and it basically allows you to decrease the frequency at which apps can requestwakelocks. With your wakelocks under control, you should hopefully see a huge boost in battery life going forward.

blackberry's first Android phone Called "Prague" rumoured to come in August
Rumors have been heating up that BlackBerry is all set to introduce smartphones that run on the Android operating system instead of the company’s BlackBerry 10 OS. Latest updates suggest that the BlackBerry Prague might be the first ofsuch handsets.Earlier this year, BlackBerry showed off a slider phone codenamed ‘Venice’ with a dual curved display. Ever since rumors of an Android based BlackBerry have surfaced, it has been believed that the ‘Venice’ would be that phone. However fresh reports suggest that BlackBerry will dip their toes into the Android market by launching a lower end phone first. The ‘Prague’ as it is believed to be called is a device that is expected to be an all touch handset similar to the Z3 and will betargeted at emerging markets. The phone is expected to be launched in August ahead of the launch of the slider phone which may or may not run Android. While BlackBerry has promised ongoing support for their operating system with OS 10.3.3 expected later this year, the thought of broadening their market share by utilizing Android on their phones is a clear cut reason why they might want to launch a phone running Google’soperating system. A BlackBerry phone that offers cutting edge security, great build quality and the openness of Android could prove to be a winning combination and we can’t wait to see if and when the company reveals their strategy for the same.

Apple Game of the Year Threes! Now Free
Launched early in 2014, and almost immediately cloned as 1024 and 2048 - both of which ended up being more famous than the original - Threes! is a game that's also a work of art, and the only reason it was overshadowed by its clones was because unlike them, it was not a free game.
That however is a thing of the past. Well at least on iOS for now. The game is now available for free with ad-support for iPhone and iPad users.
The game has been highly praised for its minimal aesthetic and easy to play mechanics. It's a pity that a very small charge kept people away from one of the most well-crafted games in recent times, but if you've not experienced this game till now, then we urge you to take the plunge just to see how carefully every little detail was made in this game. It's a beautiful little numbers game, and well worth your time. We've been playing it for months now and it was one of our favourite mobile apps and games of last year.

Google Announces YouTube Gaming Streaming Service.
Google has announced
YouTube Gaming, a new app and a website that would compete with Twitch
that was acquired by Amazon last year, after several rumors that the
streaming service was being acquired by Google. YouTube Gaming will let
you watch gaming videos and live streams, similar to Twitch. You can add
a game to your collection to watch videos about it. You will also get a
notification when there is a live stream. It also offers
recommendations based on the games and channels you love.
YouTube Gaming will have more than 25,000 games with own page for each, so that it will be easy to watch videos and live streams about that title. It has a homescreen that is designed to put Live streams front-and-center. YouTube recently got 60fps live streaming, especially for those who are streaming games. It will get improved live experience for making gameplay broadcast to YouTube simpler, says Google.
YouTube Gaming will be roll out starting in the U.S. and U.K beginning this Summer. You can sign-up through gaming.youtube.com to be notified when it’s launched.

It's also a flashy way to impress clients. Multiple people can doodle on the screen at once, even collaborate in real time with remote participants. The Hub runs on Windows 10 and includes the usual Microsoft Office apps, as well as Skype for Business and OneNote. It can also work with universal apps.
To use the Hub, you can drag a finger or the special Hub stylus across the screen to draw or navigate apps. Don't want to get up? Speak commands from your chair or take control from a Windows, Android or iOS smartphone or tablet (with the right Microsoft app installed). It has two-built in 1080p cameras for video conference calls.
While $20,000 sound pricy, it's probably a reasonable expense for many businesses interested in high-end equipment.
The company first unveiled the Hub at an event in January, where it was quickly over-shadowed by the debut of Microsoft's augmented reality headset, HoloLens. The Surface Hub will start shipping on July 1.
Brazil legend Zico wants to stand for FIFA presidency
Brazilian great Zico is the latest former professional footballer intent on succeeding FIFA president Sepp Blatter.
Frenchman
David Ginola and Portugal's Luis Figo both threw their hats into the
ring ahead of last month's presidential election, only to both
ultimately pull out of the race.
Blatter went on to be re-elected for a
fifth term, before announcing his resignation following the launch of
separate investigations by the U.S. and Swiss authorities into alleged
corruption within FIFA.
The election of
Blatter's successor is believed to be set for December, and former
Brazil star Zico, whose full name is Arthur Antunes Coimbra, wants to
shake up the way world football is run.
"I
would like to confirm the decision to be a candidate," Zico told a news
conference in Rio de Janeiro. "I feel I am capable. For sure, certain
rules need to change.
"It's sad for our
sport to see what is happening in football today -- the corruption...
and the hard work of many other good people wasted.
"I see it as my duty to use my experience and knowledge to try and stand for the presidency."
Interpol suspends $22.5m anti match-fixing partnership with FIFA
sportInterpol suspends $22.5m anti match-fixing partnership with FIFAWorld football's governing body has taken its fair share of knocks since
first being embroiled in a corruption scandal last month, and Interpol
is the latest to inflict further damage to its battered reputation.
The international police organization has
opted to suspend its $22.5 million joint anti match-fixing program with
FIFA while it remains implicated in corruption allegations.
The governing body is currently under investigation by both the U.S. and Swiss authorities.
"In
light of the current context surrounding FIFA, while Interpol is still
committed to developing our Integrity in Sport program, I have decided
to suspend the agreement," Interpol secretary general Jurgen Stock said in a statement.
"All
external partners, whether public or private, must share the
fundamental values and principles of the Organization, as well as those
of the wider law enforcement community."
FIFA donated $22.5 million to Interpol
under a May 2011 agreement to create the 10-year Integrity in Sport
program, which was intended to fight match-fixing and illegal gambling.
The
agreement, according to Interpol, included a clause which states that
"the funding party declares notably that its activities are compatible
with the principles, aims and activities of Interpol."
Stock's
decision to freeze the use of financial contributions from FIFA was
endorsed by Interpol's Executive Committee at a three-day meeting this
week in Lyon.
"Interpol continues to closely monitor developments involving FIFA," the statement added.
FIFA's response
FIFA issued its own statement later Friday in response to Interpol's decision.
The
governing body, which is "reaching out to Interpol to further discuss
this matter," believes the program is unrelated to the allegations of
corruption it currently faces.
"We are
disappointed to learn of the decision by Interpol to suspend cooperation
in the fight against match fixing in football," the statement read.
"The
success and importance of this program cannot be understated. Our
cooperation over the past four years has been a key part of addressing
the transnational problem of match fixing."
Christopher Lee, horror master and renowned film villain, dies at 93
Lee died Sunday, a spokesman for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea said.
He had more than 150 film credits to his name, beginning in 1948 and stretching into this decade.
Lee
initially made his name in horror films. His first major horror role
was as Frankenstein's creature and then the infamous vampire Dracula in a
series films for Britain's Hammer Films studios from the 1950s until
the 1970s.
He was often quoted as saying he had to be
talked into playing in some of the Dracula films. He said he played the
character silently in one film -- 1965's "House of Horrors" -- because
the lines were so bad.
Later, he took
on the role of James Bond's nemesis Francisco Scaramanga in 1974's "The
Man with the Golden Gun," and was introduced to a new generation of
film-goers in 2001 with "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the
Ring."
Rafael Nadal: I can get back to the top
Stan Wawrinka may have dethroned Rafael Nadal
as the new king of the clay, but the Spaniard is
confident he will continue to be a major force in
tennis.
Last week Rafael Nadal crashed out of the French
Open in a straight sets quarterfinal defeat against
world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, who was defeated by
Wawrinka in Sunday's final.
And after suffering only his second ever defeat at
Roland Garros, and his first since 2009, nine-time
French Open champion Nadal sank to his lowest
position ranking since April 2005.
"When your opponent is better than you, you
have to accept that," the14-time grand slam
champion, who has lost four matches on clay in a
season for the first time since 2003, told a press
conference Monday, referring to his defeat by
Djokovic.
"Novak had been better than me and I have to
work hard to improve my level of tennis, my level
of intensity on court and if that happens I'm
confident I can be back and compete at the
highest level."
Nadal admitted that he paid little attention to the
final but he labeled as Wawrinka one of the
fiercest competitors on tour.
"I didn't watch the match, I was practicing," he
said. "I watched a few games.
"But obviously Wawrinka is a player that if you're
not able to let him play from the tough positions
and if he's playing well, I think he's a player that
hits the ball with more power on the tour.
"It's tough to stop him, it's tough to have the
control of the match against him. I think
Wawrinka is a player that can create winners from
everywhere.

Wawrinka is used to playing spoiler.
After upsetting Rafael Nadal at the Australian
Open last year, he engineered another major
surprise Sunday by topping world No. 1 Novak
Djokovic 4-6 6-4 6-3 6-4 in the French Open final
to claim his second major title.
Wawrinka isn't a member of the "Big Four," but
his achievement at Roland Garros means the
Swiss now has the same number of grand slam
trophies as Andy Murray.
While the Scot owns a 2-6 record in major finals,
Wawrinka is a perfect 2-0.
"I still have a problem to really realize that I won
the French Open," Wawrinka told reporters. "It's
always the same after winning a big title. You are
a little bit lost in your mind."
Djokovic sunk to 8-8 and out went his 28-match
winning streak overall.
"Of course it hurts, especially because it was in
the final," Djokovic told reporters. "I think I've
played a great clay-court season, a great Roland
Garros, came to the position to really win this
trophy."
He must be wondering if he'll ever win the grand
slam he so desperately craves and complete his
collection. In the last two years, Djokovic hasn't
made it a secret that triumphing on the red clay
in Paris was his main objective.
"I know he's looking badly and desperately for
this title," said the eighth-seeded Wawrinka.
But with each passing year and no title, he moves
closer to the likes of Pete Sampras and Boris
Becker -- one of his coaches -- in never winning
the French Open while bagging the three other
majors.
