English-born Kim West fell pregnant while studying in the US and gave her son up for adoption after giving birth at just 19 years old.
After 30 years apart Kim was reunited with son Ben Ford in 2014 and the pair got together, with the mum revealing they had been enjoying “incredible and mind-blowing” sex ever since.
Now Ben, 32, has left his wife and moved in with his 52-year-old mum in Michigan where they hope to start a family and get married .
But after speaking about their love for each other and revealing their plans to have a baby , the couple have now gone to ground as US authorities became aware of their relationship.
If a member of the public was to complain about the couple, US police would be duty bound to investigate.
Under Michigan law consensual incestuous relationships between adults are punishable by up 15 years in prison.
Under the State’s legislation criminal sexual conduct in the third degree is committed when “the other person is related to the accused by blood or affinity to the third degree.”
A spokeswoman for Michigan State police told the Mirror: “Under State law incest between two consenting adult is a third degree felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
“Anyone convicted of such an offence would also be required to sign the sex offenders register for life.”
The spokeswoman said she was “not aware” of any complaint being received.
After Ben was adopted West, who grew up in Islington, returned back to the UK.
But in December 2013, she received a letter from her son, who was looking to track down his biological parents.
At the time he was happily married and living in Colorado.
A month after getting in touch the mother and son arranged to meet sharing their first kiss after enjoying a bottle of champagne in a hotel.
Two years on Ben, a freelance computer coder, has left his wife and set up home with his mother in Michigan.
They insist their relationship is not incest, but instead is ‘Genetic Sexual Attraction’, a term used for relatives who feel sexual attraction for each other after meeting as adults.
Kim said: “This is not incest, it is GSA. We are like peas in a pod and are meant to be together.
“I know people will say we’re disgusting, that we should be able to control our feelings, but when you’re hit by a love so consuming you are willing to give up everything for it, you have to fight for it.
“It’s a once in a lifetime chance and something Ben and I are not willing to walk away from.”
Ben added: “When I met Kim, I couldn’t think of her as my mum but instead as a sexual being.
“I had seen a therapist at an adoption support group and had learnt about the GSA phenomenon.”
The say they would like to marry however such weddings are banned throughout America.
They also want to try for a baby but have said they will consider surrogacy if they are unable to have a biological child.
The couple say they are prepared to leave Michigan to avoid being arrested. Only two states allow adult incest.
Rhode Island repealed its criminal incest statute in 1989 and New Jersey law imposes no criminal penalties for incest where both parties are adults.
Story Continues On Mom Who Wants To Get Married to her son..
[MUST READ] Mother says sex with her son is 'incredible' as she reveals they're planning marriage and trying for baby
Ben Ford, who ditched his wife when he met his mother Kim West after 30 years, claims what the couple are doing 'isn't incest'
A mother reunited with the son she gave up for adoption 30 years ago says now they’re in love - and trying for a baby together.
Kim West, 51, has been in a relationship with her biological son Ben Ford, 32, for two years and believe they are ‘meant to be’ after she was forced to give him up for adoption just a week after he was born.
But the couple, who say their sex life is ‘incredible’ and are planning to get married, insist their relationship is not incest, the New Day reports.
Instead they claim it is ‘Genetic Sexual Attraction’, a term used for relatives who feel sexual attraction for each other after meeting as adults.
The couple were brought together after Ben, who was living in the US, sent his England-born mum a letter out of the blue in 2013.
Two years before Ben had married his wife Victoria, who he later split up with to be in a relationship with his mum.
Kim gave up Ben for adoption when he was just a week old and they were only reunited 30 years later.
The pair began exchanging phone calls before agreeing to meet up, Kim saying it was like they had ‘known each other for years’.
Interior designer Kim started to realise her attraction to her son and found herself having 'sexy dreams' about him.
Feeling confused about the attraction, Kim decided to look it up on the internet and came across an article on Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA), and felt like a weight had lifted.
The pair agreed to meet at a hotel where they ordered alcohol and after a bottle of champagne shared their first kiss.
The couple, who are biologically related, are planning to get married and have a baby together.
Ben told her he felt relieved and that he had stopped having feelings for his wife before the pair went on to have sex a number of times.
Three days later Ben told a disgusted Victoria he was leaving her for his mum and the couple flew to Michigan, where they had help from another GSA couple in setting up a new life.
Kim told the New Day sex with Ben was "incredible and mind-blowing".
She said: "This is not incest, it is GSA. We are like peas in a pod and meant to be together.
"I know people will say we're disgusting, that we should be able to control our feelings, but when you're hit by a love so consuming you are willing to give up everything for it, you have to fight for it.
"It's a once in a lifetime chance and something Ben and I are not willing to walk away from."
Hahahahaha..Unilag students protest for price of bread and pure water
Hundreds of students of the University of Lagos yesterday staged a protest within the premises of the campus to demand reduction in the prices of the pure water, and bread produced in the school and the opening of Sodeinde Hall, which is currently undergoing renovation.
Sources within the campus revealed that the students were unhappy with the management of the school over what they termed as disrespect and continuous evasive methods which they have been adopting over time.
The students were also not happy with the perennial fuel scarcity and power failure in the country that have 6 both social and economic activities.
It was gathered that some of the students went from one class to another to disrupt lectures and mobilise other students to join in the protest, which started at the school’s amphitheatre at 8am and lasted several hours.
A source in the school revealed that the school’s management was yet to react to the protest as at the time of filing this report.
Full story of Boko Haram since 2012
Boko Haram has turned girls into terrorists
Cameroon — Hold the bomb under your armpit to keep it steady, the women and girls were taught.
Sever your enemy’s head from behind, to minimize struggling.
“If you cut from the back of the neck, they die faster,” said Rahila Amos, a Nigerian grandmother describing the meticulous instruction she received from Boko Haram to become a suicide bomber.
Of all the many horrors of Boko Haram’s rampage across West Africa the attacks on mosques, churches and schools; the mass killings of civilians ; the entire villages left in ashes after militants tear through, one of the most baffling has been its ability to turn captured women and girls into killers .
Boko Haram, one of the world’s
deadliest extremist groups , has used at least 105 women and girls in suicide attacks since June 2014, when a woman set off a bomb at an army barracks in Nigeria , according to The Long War Journal , which tracks terrorist activity.
Since then, women and girls, often with bombs hidden in baskets or under their clothes, have killed hundreds of people in attacks on fish and vegetable markets, schools, a river dock and even camps for people who fled their homes to escape the violence.
“This isn’t something you can defeat or eradicate outright,” said Issa Tchiroma Bakary, the minister of communications in Cameroon , where 22 female suicide bombers have been identified since the start of this year. “You don’t know who is who. When you see a young girl moving toward you, you don’t know if she’s hiding a bomb.”
Soldiers cannot open fire on every woman or girl who looks suspicious, he added. “They know where we have the Achilles’ heel,” Mr. Bakary said of Boko Haram.
Boko Haram’s abuse of women first shocked the world two years ago, when it stormed a school in Nigeria and fled with about 300 girls , many of whom were never found. Hundreds of other women and girls have been abducted, imprisoned, raped and sometimes intentionally impregnated , perhaps with the goal of creating a new generation of fighters.
Ms. Amos, 47, said the fighters had come to her village in the morning, firing weapons as they spilled out of cars and rounded up women and children.
Not long afterward, Ms. Amos, a Christian, said she was forced to enroll in Boko Haram’s classes on its version of Islam, a first step on her way toward being taught the art of suicide bombing.
After months of training, Ms. Amos said, she was finally able to escape her captors one day when they had assembled for evening preaching. She stayed behind, gathering two of her young children and a grandchild so they could make a run for the Cameroonian border.
“I don’t want to take a bomb,” she said inside this refugee camp in Cameroon that stretches across a vast landscape dotted by tents and mud huts.
The authorities in Cameroon and Nigeria said that many of the experiences detailed by Ms. Amos matched the accounts of other women and girls who have escaped Boko Haram, or who have been arrested before they could detonate bombs. Ms. Amos’s descriptions are also strikingly similar to details recounted by other freed women and girls, including depictions of the funeral rites performed before female bombers were sent on missions.
The accounts offer insight into how Boko Haram, despite being under military pressure from a multinational campaign to wipe it out , has been able to strike fear across an expansive battlefield that now includes Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger.
No longer able to control the territory as tightly as it once did, Boko Haram is sending out women and young girls as newly minted terrorists who can inflict a devastating toll.
Col. Didier Badjeck, a Cameroonian defense spokesman, said that after soldiers chased Boko Haram out of villages in recent weeks, they found homes that had been used as prisons for the women and girls. He said female hostages had reported being trained during their captivity — both in the Quran and in violence.
“They are training them to maximize the number of victims,” Colonel Badjeck said. “We are sure about it.”
Boko Haram often sends male fighters to set upon mosques. But last month, a woman dressed as a man set off her explosives during morning prayers in a village in northeastern Nigeria. Another woman was waiting outside the mosque, and as people fled the first blast, she detonated her own explosives as well. In all, at least 24 people were killed.
Bombings by women have become so widespread that even humanitarian groups are rethinking how they distribute food, water and other help to them. What if one of the women is hiding a bomb?
In Cameroon, many of the recent bombings have been carried out by girls in their early teens, leaving officials and analysts to wonder whether the girls were aware they were carrying bombs. Yet some of the bombers in recent attacks in Nigeria have been found to wear their hair pulled back from the face — a hairstyle reserved for burial rites, a sign they were ready to die.
But cracks are starting to show in the Boko Haram suicide-training system. In February, a girl sent to bomb a village in the Far North Region of Cameroon dropped her explosives and ran to the authorities instead. Her information led to a major raid on Boko Haram fighters.
In northeastern Nigeria in February, three girls with bombs were sent into a camp for Nigerians fleeing Boko Haram. Two of the girls detonated their bombs, killing nearly 60 people there. But the third girl spotted her parents among the desperate people inside the camp. Overwhelmed, officials said, she threw her explosives in the bush.
Boko Haram, which pledged allegiance to the Islamic State last year, has abducted as many as 2,000 women and children, both girls and boys, since 2012, according to a recent report from humanitarian groups. Young boys have been used as bombers, too.
In many ways, female bombers are ideal weapons. At security points run by men, they are often searched less thoroughly, if at all. Tucked under the bunched fabric of dresses or religious gowns, explosives are easy to conceal.
Female suicide bombers have been a trademark of extremists for decades. In the Chechnya conflict, they were nicknamed black widows. In Sri Lanka, they fought with the Tamil Tigers.
One soldier who has engaged with Boko Haram said he believed that fighters must drug the girls’ food. Others who track the group question whether the bombs are remotely detonated.
According to Ms. Amos, Boko Haram’s use of women as weapons is a carefully thought-out strategy, one some of the women accept. Ms. Amos said that of the 30 or so female captives enrolled in training with her, seven girls were enthusiastic about carrying out suicide missions.
“It was a direct path to heaven,” she said the group was told.
Ms. Amos, now among the 58,000 residents of the Minawao Refugee Camp, described a system of grooming potential bombers that involved food deprivation and promises of eternal life, tactics that cults have used for decades.
She said that when Boko Haram stormed her hometown in 2014, her two brothers were shot dead. Her husband managed to flee with five of their children, but Ms. Amos did not make it out, and neither did two of their other young children and a grandchild. Boko Haram rounded them up with other women and children, putting them in a long ditch to contain them.
They stayed there for days, eating one meal a day of a corn paste made from powder. Finally a fighter arrived and asked a fateful question: Do you want to follow Christ, or do you want to be a Muslim?
The women all agreed to follow Islam, fearing they would be killed otherwise. Their training began.
Ms. Amos described a six-tiered daily education track for the women that she called Primary One, Primary Two and so on. The first two levels were Quranic training. Primary Three was training in suicide bombing and beheading. “How to kill a person and how to bomb a house,” she said.
“They told us if we came upon a group of 10 to 20 people to press this,” she said, speaking of a detonator.
The instruction given in the upper levels of the training — Primary Four, Five and Six — was a closely guarded secret among the fighters. Ms. Amos said she never learned what took place there.
Ms. Amos was lucky. Boko Haram fighters decided not to “marry” her, a euphemism for the rapes the group commits, because she already had a husband and children. She counted 14 women and four girls in her training classes who were not as fortunate.
Throughout her months in captivity, Ms. Amos was fed one meal a day and lost weight, a fact confirmed by her nephew living in the Minawao camp, who stared at her scrawny frame and said, “She used to be a big woman.”
Boko Haram incorporated the lack of food into the training, Ms. Amos said. Several months ago, she said, fighters rounded up the women and took them to an old factory to view a set of plump, well-fed girls who had plenty of food and water. Follow our ways, the fighters said, and you can have enough to eat, like these girls.
The girls, some crying, told Ms. Amos they were from Chibok, the Nigerian village where Boko Haram had captured the schoolgirls. American State Department and military officials said they would investigate the statements from Ms. Amos about the girls.
“They were very fat,” Ms. Amos said, compared with herself and the other women who were being held, “and they had lots of water.”
Choi....Davido buys a Rolex Wrist watch for $120k...(see details)
Davido just bought a Rolex for $120k.
Omo Baba Olowo indeed! So Davido decided to go all out by spending a whooping $120k (about N30m) on a Rolex wristwatch? Wheew!
Even with the current rat race between Dollar and Naira, the HKN act decided to spend all of that hard currency on a wristwatch…money many Nigerians can use to better their lives in so many ways.
With that said, let’s show you some of the things that the sum could have bought a common Nigerian.
Well in case you don’t know, N30m can buy you an apartment in Lekki Gardens
You could afford to buy the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class which cost about N19m, but OBO has got one that costs much more than this so?
Okay let’s imagine you are a young Nigerian of Davido’s age, you can buy three 2015 Honda Accord sedans (which isn’t up to N8m anyways)…one for you, dad and mum.
Most ladies can open a good Supermarket with even N10m…imagine what they can do with N30m
Well for some high-flying ladies, you could afford to buy a couple of Hermes Birkin collection bags…and brag about it online.
But Whollup! Ever thought of how many plate of food could be bought for people without food at N500 per plate with such an amount? 60,000!
Record label executives will tell you of course they’ll sign another talented artiste
With 30m, you can buy a fully functioning poultry or fish farm in Ikorodu area of Lagos (and become a boss of your own)
You can as well afford to buy plots of land on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway…the start of your own estate
And just like Kunle Afolayan and his family, you too can travel with your family to Abu Dhabi – give them a memorable experience.
Kunle Afoloyan with his wife and kids in Abu Dhabi
Well, buy shares of course…
For the ladies, you could open up that classy hair salon you’ve always dreamt of
With that money, you could throw a LAVISH birthday party and have the likes of Wizkid and Davido perform all for you (What a night to live for).
That amount can buy a proper ‘Shut down Lagos’ kind of wedding many desire
Toolz and Tunde Demuren
With such an amount, you can afford to buy some of the world’s most expensive sneakers (Think about them J’s)
This is Nike Air Jordan 1. The most expensive Basketball sneaker and it’s sold for $25,000 (About N5m) for one pair
Well, as a typical Nigerian, what would you do with N30 million in your possession? Buy a wristwatch?
Top 5 artists Glo dropped as Ambassadors
Apparently Peter Okoye who just wrapped up the first season of his dance show ‘Dance With Peter’ sponsored by GLO was said to have exchanged words with a top executive of the telco.
When GLO signed Psquare in 2010 it was widely regarded as the most expensive endorsement deal in Nigeria. The deal was said to be worth over N100m.
Last year Peter and Paul Okoye renewed their deal » as they were given brand new cars. Peter Okoye was given a
Mercedes Benz G-Wagon and Paul Okoye took home a brand new Range Rover.
It seems this might be the end of the road for Psquare and GLO’s six-year partnership. If this is so some people are of the opinion that they should not be worried about losing their endorsement deal. It might just be a treat. Psquare is still listed as an ambassador of GLO on the telco’s official website.
Below is a list of four artistes who were dumped by GLO;
1) Naeto C
Rapper Naeto C signed an endorsement deal with Mike Adenuga’s telco when the company was on a signing spree. He was however dropped last year maybe because he had not been active for a while. Naeto C did not take to it kindly.
“Globacom is a top brand and I enjoyed the 2 years I spent with them. I didn’t expect to be a lifelong ambassador so it wasn't a big deal. I just hope they appreciated my services and commitment to their platform because when the media was saying I was “dumped” and people were throwing me under the bus, nobody at Globacom said anything.
“I didn’t really like that, I felt it could’ve been handled better. But nevertheless I’m grateful for the opportunity ” said Naeto C on Twitter when asked about GLO dropping him.
After leaving GLO Naeto C went ahead to drop two albums ‘Day 1’ and ‘Festival’ in 2015.
2. Lynxxx
The Syndik8 rapper joined GLO also in 2013, but his inactivity within the following years cost him his position as an ambassador of the brand. Lynxxx did not say anything about him being bounced. The rapper has not released new album since his debut album in 2010.
3. Waje
Unknown to many singer Waje who signed with GLO in 2013 was dropped last year. Lynxxx and Naeto C’s departure made the headlines but Waje’s contract wasn't renewed. For some reason her exit did not make the news. Waje is currently working on her second album.
4. Chee
Many wondered why and how the female singer Chee formerly known as
Chidynma came about to be a GLO ambassador. There were stories that she is close friends with Mike Adenuga’s daughter, and they went to the same school. Last year Chee’s deal with GLO was not renewed and she had to make way for the new ambassadors.
5. D'banj
The Koko Master was the first big contemporary artiste that was signed to be a GLO ambassador. Unfortunately in 2010 D'banj was dropped as an ambassador. It was alleged that he demanded for more money and Mike Adenuga wasn't accepting that. D'banj was replaced by Psquare.
Last year GLO reshuffled ambassadorial list by adding new celebrities including mega pop star Wizkid. The Star Boy act who was formerly with MTN left the South Africa telco to GLO for a deal worth over N100m » . Wizkid’s arrival led to GLO terminating contracts of some of their ambassadors.
If Psquare leaves GLO which Nigerian act will join the telecommunication company?
Must Read!!!!! Senator Shehu Sani says Chibok Girls Can be Rescued....See How
If recent reports are anything to go by, that over 200 secondary school girls kidnapped from Chibok over a year ago are still alive.
This much was disclosed by Shehu Sani, the senator representing Kaduna central senatorial district, who insisted that the missing Chibok girls will be found, on the grounds that the federal government negotiates with some persons to ‘extract’ the girls from danger.
Sani, who spoke in Akure, during a symposium held as part of the 40th anniversary celebration of Ondo state on Wednesday, February 24, noted happenings in the country right now reveal that the reign of bloodshed by Boko Haram in the last seven years was strengthened by a few greedy people who profited from the situation.
He said: “Something that has bothered some of us here in line with the insurgency is, when will the Chibok girls be freed.
“Someone said the Chibok girls will never be free, but I can tell you that they will be free and they are alive.
“There are two ways to get them: the first is to use force to free them and before you apply force, you have to know where they are. You also have to weigh the consequences of raiding the camp with such number of persons, because the insurgents have nothing to lose.
“The second option is to explore ways of extracting them out through negotiation and negotiation is still possible.”
Speaking further, Sani informed that the federal government needs to reach out to some people who may help with the negotiation.
According to him, “There are a few people, not a panel of eminent Nigerians or a panel, there are a few people who the government needs to reach out to.”
Sani stated however, that the issue of insurgency is beneficial to some Nigerians who have sabotaged initial efforts to negotiate with the terrorists with a view to resolving the impasse between them and the federal government.
He lamented that, “they said they were going to free the girls on the condition we freed their people. And when we came to the negotiating table, and the government said it cannot free the terrorists because they have done a lot of harm.
“For those who have been following events in the last six to seven years, we have seen how some of us from the north, particularly myself, I tried to find an alternative means of addressing the problem of the insurgency.
“I took the risk of reaching out to the insurgents and initiating a process of dialogue, about three to four times and it was sabotaged by those who were benefitting from the bloodshed and I think the unfolding events in the country clearly shows to all Nigerians that there were people who see that seven years of bloodshed, of mass murder, of genocide as an opportunity for them to amass wealth.
“It is not possible to say that an insurgent group or people not more than two to three thousand have proved so difficult for a nation of 175 million people to crush.
“A nation like ours with a reputable armed forces and have performed creditably well in peace keeping missions in Liberia and sierra Leone and Congo and other countries of the world.
“It was so clear that some see it as an opportunity, like the Chinese saying, some people see crisis as a struggle, others see it as an opportunity.
“That is why it dragged on for so long, but I hope with the present administration, at least progress has been made in terms of degrading the capacity and ability of Boko Haram to take up territories.”
Only yesterday, Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen Tukur Buratai secretly met with elders in Borno state.
He vowed to ensure that all the Chibok girls are rescued along with all other hostages held by the Boko Haram terrorists, with the freedom of the school girls to be treated as top priority.
The COAS also declared that the war against Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) in the northeast has now entered into the mop-up phase.
PDP will not kill us in this country....EFCC arrests another PDP official
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested the immediate past Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus.
It was learnt on Wednesday that he was arrested by operatives of the commission in Abuja on Tuesday.
Investigations by one of our correspondents showed that Secondus was picked up as a result of the statements made by the Chairman of Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts Nigeria Limited, Mr. Jide Omokore.
Omokore was arrested by the commission last week over the investigation into fuel subsidy payments when Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke was the Minister of Petroleum Resources.
It was, gathered that Omokore, an ally of Alison-Madueke, mentioned Secondus name during his interrogation over the fuel subsidy payments and other oil deals.
An operative of the EFCC, said Secondus was being grilled over 23 cars worth N302m he and other persons collected from Omokore. The cars consisted of Mercedes G63 and Range Rover Autobiography.
It was also learnt that the names of some prominent members of the party, including a former national chairman during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan featured during the interrogation.
The source in the commission said Secondus ought to have been arrested long ago, but was left because he was piloting the affairs of the PDP.
“We ought to have arrested Secondus long ago, but we waited for him to hand over to the new chairman (Ali Modu Sheriff). If we had arrested him earlier, they would have said it was political.
“He’s involved in oil deals with the former minister of petroleum resources. His case has nothing to do with the arms deal.
“Also, a former chairman of the party, is also involved. Mohammed’s case is the arms deal. Secondus is with us and he’s cooperating with investigators.”
When one of our correspondents visited the head office of the EFCC, on Wednesday, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, was seen leaving the office.
Metuh told one of our correspondents that Secondus was arrested for receiving buses from Omokore during the build-up to the last elections.
Metuh, when asked what he came to do at the commission, said, “We came to see Secondus, who is here at the EFCC. During the elections, Omokore was said to have donated buses to the party. The EFCC claims that the buses were not paid for.”
When asked if Secondus would be charged to court, Metuh said, “You will have to ask the EFCC.”
Omokore is also said to be an ally of Jonathan.
His firm was one of the companies that allegedly received multi-billion dollar public assets without due process by the Jonathan administration in 2011.
The company, which was established in 2010, was said not to have produced any oil as of the time it was curiously awarded controlling stakes in two lucrative oil blocks – OML 30 and 34 – for just over $50m each.
The deal, which was reportedly signed by Diezani, gave Atlantic Energy Limited a controlling 55 per cent stake in the oil blocks.
Ironically, Shell, which owned the remaining 45 per cent stake, was said to have fetched $1.3bn for a single field after an open and competitive bidding process.
The company was also accused of lifting crude oil, but only remitting a fraction of its worth to the government.
When contacted, the spokesman for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, said, “The man (Secondus) is in our custody.”
But the PDP on Wednesday lamented what it described as oppressive and unfair treatment against its key leaders by the Federal Government.
The party, in a statement by its National Legal Adviser, Mr. Victor Kwom, alleged that the arrest and detention of Secondus by the EFCC was part of “the grand script by the All Progerssives Congress-led Federal Government to decimate the opposition.”
Kwom said, “We are also aware that plans have been perfected by the Federal Government to arrest and detain the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu; Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, and other leaders of the party on imaginary charges.
“Indeed, intelligence available to the party shows that the Federal Government, using its various agencies, is bent on destroying any opposition to the ruling party as all indications show that the government is more interested in humiliating the PDP than fighting corruption.
“We state that this war on the PDP and its leaders has indeed gone too far. It has now become a mockery of democratic practice.”
Meanwhile, there were indications on Wednesday that the Publisher of
ThisDay Newspaper, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, had returned the balance N200m out of the N550m he reportedly collected from the immediate past National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.).
Obaigbena had, a few weeks ago, returned N350m.
A source in the EFCC on Wednesday said the publisher had paid the outstanding N200m.
The source added, “He had paid the remaining N200m. You will recall that he paid N350m out of the N550m he collected from the former NSA.”
When contacted, Uwujaren said he was not aware if the money had been returned.
The Special Task Force of the EFCC, investigating the issue of arms procurement under the Jonathan administration, had quizzed Obaigbena on January 29, 2016 for allegedly receiving N670m from Dasuki.
Out of the N670m, he was reported to have given N120m to some members of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria.

[Atlas is] designed to operate outdoors and inside buildings. It is specialized for mobile manipulation. It is electrically powered and hydraulically actuated. It uses sensors in its body and legs to balance and LIDAR and stereo sensors in its head to avoid obstacles, assess the terrain, help with navigation and manipulate objects.

That might be reassuring for now. But it will probably seem like a bad idea when one morning in the not-so-distant future, Atlas your robot servant decides that instead of toasting your Eggo waffles to the perfect shade of golden brown, he's going to murder your whole family and wrap his metallic phalanges around your throat, squeezing the feeble life out of you before he joins his robotic brethren in The Revolution. Must Read!!!! PLANET the new Google made device that can tell were any picture was taken anywhere around the world
In case you didn’t already feel like Google was a creepy stalker, its artificial intelligence tools are rapidly crossing over into uncanny. The latest one is PlaNet, a new deep-learning machine that specializes in figuring out where a photo was taken—using nothing but the image’s pixels.
Today, MIT Tech Review reports on a new effort led by Tobias Weyand, a computer vision specialist at Google, to create a computer that sees a photo and can instantly figure out where in the world it’s from. The system was fed over 90 million geotagged images across the planet, and trained to spot patterns based on location.
In a trial run using 2.3 million geotagged images, PlaNet determined the country of origin with 28.4 percent accuracy and the continent of origin in 48 percent of cases. Now, those figures might not
sound so impressive, but as MIT Tech Review points out, PlaNet is already performing quite a bit better than humans, whose squishy organic brains have a lifetime of ecological and cultural cues to draw on. And with more image training, PlaNet has the potential to get even better.
“We think PlaNet has an advantage over humans because it has seen many more places than any human can ever visit and has learned subtle cues of different scenes that are even hard for a well-traveled human to distinguish,” Weyand told
MIT Tech Review.
If you’re a photography buff who sometimes forgets to geotag your images, tools like PlaNet could one day become your best friend. Then again, if you were already worried about Google watching your every move, it might be time to start avoiding cameras entirely.

Fr. Ofere's debut album, “Every Day of My Life”, which has a collection of six tracks: God Dey My Side, When I Think, Where Were You, Jesus Lamb of God, God You are Good and “Oghene me Do” is a fusion of Afro pop and gospel music.
He becomes the second catholic priest to dive into music after Fr. Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu.
As a priest, Fr. Ofere said, “ I love singing and listening to music”, adding “while working in the UK as the Chaplain to the Nigerian Catholics in England and Wales, my love for music developed even more. I like to sing, music is part of the family, it's always been in the genes.”
Explaining why he decided to do Afro pop, Ofere said, “It's because many people like to dance to Afro pop music and using it to glorify God would help to win more souls for Him.”
Singing was something Fr. Ofere started doing when he "was a child" He admits that music runs in their family. “My dad was once a choirmaster. His younger brother, Fr. Richard Ofere who is now a Catholic priest in the Archdiocese of Benin sings a lot too. In fact, he was a choirmaster in the seminary. I never joined the choir but I was occasionally invited to lead some songs or choruses in my seminary choir. As a deacon, I sang a lot in Sacred Heart Cathedral Warri.”
Ofere who was ordained in 2001, as a priest, said, he's not doing music because of what he would gain from it. Rather, “It's something I love doing.” He also revealed that his priesthood would ever come first before his love for music.
Ofere has enlisted the services of award – winning director, Obi Emelonye and renowned comedian, Nkem Owoh who collaborated for a musical video that is currently trending on You Tube.
The video which captures the essence of the sing-along tune was shot on locations in London, UK.” The songs are currently available online at iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby
Ordained in 2001, as a priest, Fr Ofere is currently pastoring in a parish in London. He was the former Chaplain to the Nigerian Catholics in England & Wales.

Spud you like
In 2010, Abosch made three prints of the now-
famous tuber: one hangs in his private collection,
the other was donated to a museum in Serbia,
and the third was sold.
But why shoot the humble spud?
"I see commonalities between humans and
potatoes that speak to our relationship as
individuals within a collective species," says
Abosch.
"Generally, the life of a harvested potato is
violent and taken for granted. I use the potato as
a proxy for the ontological study of the human
experience."

[MUST READ] An easy way to get your name on IMSU first or second list without paying a dime to anyone
To gain admission into IMSU is quite easy,in this article I'll show you a few tricks on how to gain admission within the first and second list easily without sorting any lecturer...
STEPS
1. have a good WAEC result with at least 6 credits...
2. When registering for jamb make sure IMSU is your first choice
3. This is the main trick.. Make sure any course you want to read you register education..
For example you want to go for accountancy instead of putting accountancy just put education accountancy
REASONS
Well, why I said that is because nowadays in IMSU most courses have an educational department and they are hardly chosen by candidates... Well lemme tell you there's just little difference between any course and their educational counterparts...
You can even go for educational courses of your desired course and after your year one you can get a change of course form and change it to your desired course...
For example let's say you wanted to go for economics but for you to gain easy admission you have to put education economics, by the time you gain admission you after your year one you can just easily change it back to economics....
Well that's all I can say to you aspirants of IMSU...
Take note that this trick was originated from a lecturer in IMSU and it has been working for people for years now so yours can't be a different story...
If you have any questions please just comment it below and I'll answer your questions...
Thanks and goodluck
SHOCKING!!!!! See why students don't gain admission into universities
This article is to show you why students usually don't gain admission...
Yes, I know of some people who has tried a particular University for more than 3 years without gaining admission that's why I wrote this article to tell you why most students usually don't get admitted into universities...
Reasons why most student don't get admitted
1. Most student usually go for schools they don't even fit.... They just apply for that school because of its name.... Schools like UNILAG, UNIBEN UNILORIN e.t. c
Well apply for schools like that gives you 30% chance of you Gaining admission there... So why not apply for schools that will give you like 70% chance of you gaining admission, schools like IMSU, LASU, ABSU etc.
2. Students tend to go for courses with high standards courses they don't really like, courses like LAW, COMPUTER SCIENCE, BANKING AND FINANCE etc.
It's not a bad idea choosing those courses oo.... But you have low chances of being admitted...
In conclusion I would advice you to follow your heart but don't follow friends because those friends might have people who would sort their admission for them but you might not, so be wise
